Discuss your favorite games!| In Dead Rising, what if u wait 'til the zombies get in entrace after 72 hrs? | | In the beginning of Dead Rising, you are in the entrance area of the mall and have to get some more things to block off the entrance so zombies can't get in. This is in the area where that woman opens the door to save her dog and lets in the zombies. What I want to know is what happens if instead of getting more things to help block the door, you wait the entire 72 hours at the entrance? | |
| | Heh, what is everyones opinion on the Dead Rising game for the 360? | | Well, I just recently purchased it, due to the huge following of it, and everyone has said it was good.Sadly, I guess I'm not everyone. 'Because I found Dead Rising to be aggravating.The Save System is horrible, and the Time system isn't much better. You die so easily.... I mean, I know this is Capcom, and that Capcom in Japanese is "Hard as Heck Games". But it's just so annoying and I expected more from it.Anyone have a different experience than me? | |
| | Who here likes DEAD RISING the Xbox 360 Game i highly recomend it:) | | Well i am addicted to it at the moment as it is just sooo different to most games being that you can choose which way you want to play the game.
Ok quick run through if you havnt played it before (which i recomend) You start off as Frank a independant Journalist hell bent on getting the big scoop on something fishy happening in a small no bit town and when you land on the helipad at the mall and tell your pilot to come back in 3 days you never counted on the fact you was landing right in the middle of HELL. Turns out that the whole town is plagued with the horrible walking dead and yet he is still persistant that he is to get the BIG Scoop he wants.
Anyway the game basically involves you running about slashing Endless numbers of ZOMBIES, there is a pretty decent story line to follow which fall under cases you have to complete but there is many endings so you basically play the game the way you want to:) (it is recomended you play the cases as they open alot more things).
There is Endless supplies of weapons ranging from a football down to a chainsaw my favorite has to be the hedge clippers they are fun:) oh yeh and of course the lawnmower is alway a favorite too as you simply... | |

| | running zombies, mutated villagers, or traditional shambling undead? | | left 4 dead has running, shrieking zombies, RE4 had infected spaniards, i played the RE5 demo and it was likewise, infected guys, Dead Rising at least still has the traditional zombie.
i like these games, but just so used to slow, rotting zombies,
so wich do you prefer in your games? running, mutated zombies; the infected villagers of a spanish or african village, or the shambling undead? | |
| | Rock Band is too much fun! | | A bunch of friends got together on Saturday night. The plan was originally that the guys were going to play video games while the girls worked on crafts. Well, as it turned out, it ended up being a mixed group of folks playing video games. The guys broke out Rock Band, but some of them were having a hard time getting through some of the songs. So somehow I got drafted to sing (funny because I was a little bit hoarse due to sore throat), and another girl was playing the drums. But we finally got through that song!:)Of course, now my fiance and I really want to buy this game for our brand new PS3. But we're waiting, as it's a lot of money to spend for a game!

You would be the hero or the villian, but live out your days within the alternate dimension of this video game.I think that if I were to choose, I would want to be in Dead Rising. Everyone in the game is human and it's a real world scenerio. The world would be on the brink of an apocalyptic disater and I would be able to live in survival mode and take whatever I wanted from whereever I wanted. And then I wouldn't have to sit and what for the zombie outbreak, it would already be here.The only down side is the zombies, but you get to kill them in new and creative ways every day and well, it's a video game, so you have infinite life. | |
