| | American Dad and Family Guy | | Witch do you like better a does of family guy or American dad? I love both equally because its both equally funny. Steward is a funny corrupt baby with an genius, but devious personality. Brain the dog is always looking for love and Gaelan is his one in a few episodes. | | | Anyone watching Family Guy? what do you think about the show? | | Reason i ask is because i really don't know what to say about it specially the theme/topic and idea that they would like to communicate to their audience,but i would say that there are quite many people out there watching the show.Anyone watching the show can write here and share their reasons for watching the show.as for me i watch the show merely because it's really entertaining, very funny.haha.that's the only reason i can give everytime people asks me why the i watch this silly show(according to some people) but i dont care.I'll just enjoy it myself if they can't appreciate it.This show and some others makes me feel good when i watch them.hahaha | |

| | | Family Guy: Like it or think it's stupid? | | I used to think Family guy was stupid. Every time I'd see a commercial on tv or see a part of an episode I'd think it was one of the stupidest shows out there. I didn't like it and thought it was just vulgar brainless comedy. But, then my brother got a few episodes for his PSP and I watched a few, and I really started liking the show. Now I watch it on tv all the time, and I must say I love it.:D Yes, it IS innapropriate often, but it's actually a really uplifting show.:D N every time I watch it, I laugh and get into a happier mood. It's more than just comedy, I love the characters, and how each one has its own personality. I especially love Stewie. He's deliciously evil, but also funny because sometimes he's just as naive and adorable as a real baby. It's not THAT brainless as well, because often there are satirical references to many ideas, people, and even political references. So, I guess I just never really gave it a chance because I'd see small parts of it and automatically push it away. If you hate it and think it's a stupid show, I suggest watching a few episodes and getting to know it better before making a decision, because you could really be missing out! | |

And that Family Guy is the funniest cartoon nowadays.For me, Family Guy is ok. But I prefer simpson's style, even if it doesn't make you laugh with every speak line(or action). And family guy kinda annoy me the way they try to explain every movie/tv refference.What do you think? Isn't simpsons in his golden age anymore?

| | family guy. king of the hill, food network.. | | Seriously, nothing helps me relax better than adult swim. I can watch reruns of family guy all day! My boyfriend loves to torture me about it. lol. Food network just makes me feel like cooking or eating, and i love to do both!! These days, i dont find much on tv that interests me. reality shows are the worst. I mean, who wants to watch real life?? Thats the crap im trying to get away from in the first place! lol. what does everyone else do to relax at home?? oh yeah, for my bf, its video games..lol hes so good at it that he finishes games in like 2-3 days. | |

Sarah Palin, as well as her daughter, have both stating that Seth Macfarlene, and his writers are insensitive jerks, because of one episode where they have a young girl with Downs Syndrome, and at the end of the episode, Chris Griffin (the son) asked what the girls parents do, and her response, "My mother is a former governor of Alaska."
Now Sarah Palin has a young son, who also has Downs Syndrome, and they took that to great offense...BUT, the episode was about Chris Griffin gathering the courage to ask this young girl out, hrm, alright, don't see the insult there Sarah, the writers are showing that someone CAN have a crush on someone with downs syndrome, that Chris really thought the young was pretty, and love the way she was, thought she was GREAT. Do you see an insult there? No? Neither do I.
The show continues to the actual date, (Stewie helped Chris out with this, along with a little song and dance sans Brian the dog, whom they are both famous for) and then it's time to go back to the girls place.
This is where the writers show how there is absolutely nothing wrong or different with people who have downs syndrome,... | |
