It is the valiant tale of Arthur played by Clive Owen, and his strong bond of brotherhood with Lancelot, played by Ioan Gruffudd, and the loyalty of the Knights of the Round Table as they fight for freedom and those that they love.
For me, it is a very good film that is really worth watching. If you have enjoyed reading the book, much more if you will see the movie. | |

| | What Is The Best Movie Version of The King Arthur Tale? | | There are so many to choose from but I am going to have to go with the 2004 release, especially the directors cut. The DVD has a lot of background information as well as The Round Table Discussion about how certain scenes were shot and the cast and crew. All of the actors worked well together and that really came through in their performance. | |

| What movie did you watch a hundred times? | | When I was like 11, I used to watched Star Wars: Return of the Jedi everyday. That was summer when it was shown on local TV and we have it copied to a VHS tape. Since then, I kept on watching it even twice a day. Funny that I could almost memorize the lines. And what's worst, my mom has been calling me "Jedi" because of that. | |

| similarities in tolkien and rawlings | | I read the trilogy of JRR Tolkien a long time ago and it was a very fascinating read. When the Harry Potter books and movies came out I could not help noticing some similarities foremost of which was the use of giant spiders. I thought Rawlings lifted the idea from Tolkien. What do you think? | |
