I have not found much that differs in their teachings from what I learned in my Pentecostal upbringing.However, they say that I must give up all things that are considered evil, or demonic. That includes any books or movies involving monsters or magic. Even something as innocent as Scooby Doo with their ghosts is taboo.Do you agree with that belief? | Anyone like Scooby Doo? Going to Watch the New Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins? | | I'm a big fan of Scooby Doo and always have been, ever since he came out in the late 60's, early 70's. I've watched every Scooby Doo ever made I think, all the cartoons and the real people movies too. I was watching Cartoon Network and saw an advertisement for Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins that starts this Fall, I think in September. It's how the gang first met and got started. I'm not sure if it is a movie or a series though. I plan on watching it when it comes out.Will you be watching it too?Here's a link to the cartoon network.

| Scooby Doo...WHERE ARE YOU? | | This was taken Friday here at the Back to the 50's Car Show in Minnesota. It is a replica of the Scooby Doo cartioon van, Mystery Machine. It's a 1960 VW van with nearly 4 feet cut from the frame. In the back are a lot of Scooby Doo memorabelia itmes like lunch box, toy van, etc etc. This was a big attraction for the kids attending the show. Including old kids like myself. This is my neice and I once again. I had a great time there even with the high humidity and heat.

| | The creator of scooby doo passes.... | | Iwao Takamoto, the US animator who created cartoon dogs Scooby-Doo and Muttley, has died aged 81. Iwao Takamoto was also responsible for characters from The Flintstones and The Jetsons when he worked for the Hanna-Barbera studio. The inspiration for Scooby came from talking to someone who looked after Great Danes, however instead of staying with the Dane's shape he gave Scoobs a hump back, bowed legs, big chin and such. It's too bad another legend has passed away but what a great amount entertainment and laughs he created. | |
