Do you know who is John Petrucci?
John Petrucci (born July 12, 1967) is an American guitarist best known as a founding member of the progressive metal group Dream Theater. He is also the producer (along with his bandmate Mike Portnoy) of all Dream Theater albums since their 1999 release, Scenes From A Memory. Contents[show] 1 Biography 2 Equipment 3 Discography 4 Videography 5 See also 6 External links [edit] Biography John first played guitar at age 8 when he noticed his sister (who was taking organ lessons at the time) was allowed to stay up past her bed time to practice. He soon dropped it when his plan failed. At age 12, he began playing again when he was invited into the band of his friend Kevin Moore, who would later become the first keyboardist of Dream Theater. John began to practice in earnest whilst exercising physically. He was a largely self-taught guitarist who developed his skills through attempts to match the skill of his idols, who included Steve Morse, Steve Howe, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Al Di Meola, Alex Lifeson, Dave Murray, and Allan Holdsworth. He has jokingly referred to his guitar idols as "the Steves and the Als". John attended Berklee College of Music in Boston with...

Best games on the Sega Saturn
OK, I know that the Sega Saturn has been dead and buried for quite a while now, but what do you think the best games on it were?I was a big fan of NiGHTS into Dreams (and the Demo Christmas NiGHTS) and it was great fun...and there was no game like it after as far as I know.empts to match the skill of his idols, who included Steve Morse, Steve Howe, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Al Di Meola, Alex Lifeson, Dave Murray, and Allan Holdsworth. He has jokingly referred to his guitar idols as "the Steves and the Als". John attended Berklee College of Music in Boston with childhood friend John Myung (bass), where they met future bandmate Mike Portnoy (drums). These three in addition to another childhood friend of Petrucci and Myung, Kevin Moore (Keyboards), formed the band Majesty, which would later become Dream Theater. While Dream Theater is what John is most commonly associated with, he is also a part of the project band Liquid Tension Experiment and has appeared as a guest on several records by other artists such as the Age of Impact album by the Explorer's Club. John also came out with a guitar instructional video, "Rock Discipline", which...
Should Sega enter the Console War again?
In 1986 Sega entered the console war against Nintendo with The Sega Master System. Not only that but a new video game icon appeared with Sega named Sonic the Hedgehog. Bring speed to the game and a new library of games Sega managed to compete. But Sega's next console would take on the SNES with the Sega Genesis. But later tradegies would be its 32 bit add on and the Sega CD. But Sega came back with the Sega Saturn but the controllers were lagging the update they needed. Finally Sega released the Sega Dreamcast which blew people away!!! Finally a new console that had online, graphics, controllers, games, and Sonic to compete against Nintendo and Sony but Sony managed to beat Sega and with Nintendo's Gamecube overshadow the Dreamcast.... Sega had lost and left the console war. Is it time for Sega to come back with a new Next Gen console to compete with Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft? I believe so and who is with me? Sega rise to power!!!
Hasn't anyone here played this game yet?
Saviour-V teleports in...It's quite a nice game, if you like poking around for secrets and sending Dracula's minions back to the abyss, but the PS and PSP versions don't do enough justice to it.If you can find the Sega Saturn version, you'll be in for a real treat.Want any more info on this game? Ask me!^_^;;Saviour-V grins, and teleports out...
1st Video Game System you ever Played
Just out of curiousity, what was the 1st video game system you have ever played in your life? For me, I remember there were 2 systems that I played, the NES and the Atari 2600. The NES still works after about going to be 18 years next year. It's really something to have something you've had since your childhood continue right now as I am older. I still got other systems as well but these ones actually hold a special place with me as they were the symbol of when I started video game playing.I did move up to play other systems like the PS1, Genesis, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube to name a few. Some systems much like the Genesis, SNES, and N64 I ended up getting a bit later when they stopped making new games for them. For some reason, I want to get the Jaguar just for curiousity reasons and also the Sega Saturn. I think to be honest, I've become somewhat of a collector but I actually play the systems. As far as hand-helds go, my 1st was the Game Boy. It was a big deal when I got it and I still got the original to say the least.I think I'm a bit of a classic gamer more so than anything else. What was your 1st system that you played video games with for the 1st time ever?
Are You A 80's 90's Retrogames Fan?Which Videogames Of The Past Do You Remember?
HI! This is a discussion that I always wanted to do!!! I'm a videgame lover of 80's and 90's. In my opinion I think videogames of that ages are more interesting of nowdays game with realistic graphic. Maybe I'm addicted to that games because I grow up with them and I have more fun playing them. I used to own lots of consoles: 8 bit nintendo, gameboy, megadrive, 16 bit sega game gear, sega megadrive and 32x that is an expantion for megadrive to transform it in 32 bit. with it I could play Doom on megadrive.amazing! Then I owned a sega saturn and a playstation that is my last console i bought. My favourite one I think It is nintendo 8 bit that was my first real console. And my first and maybe favourite videogame on it was Faxanadu, a fantasy platform adventure where you can buy weapons and shields to make the character stronger. I loved all the Mario Bros series for nintendo expecially the third episode because there was the innovations of mario transforming in animals like frog and racoons and get special abilities. Another cool nintendo game and a bit scary when I was young was Maniac Mansion, a point and click adventure game in style of Monkey Island or Zack McKracken. It...
